Satellite designed by NNU Students Set to Depart from the ISS

NAMPA, Idaho—On Friday, January 31, viewers can tune in online to watch the departure of the Northrop Grumman Cygnus cargo craft, which will be carrying Makersat 1 — a satellite designed by a talented team of NNU students. The live footage will show the cargo craft as it departs from the International Space Station (ISS). On February 1, Makersat 1 will be launched into space, making it NNU’s third satellite to embark on space travel.
